The VA currently operates six (6) community-based, outpatient clinics (CBOCs) in South Jersey for local veterans which are under the oversight of either the VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA or Wilmington, DE.

Additionally, the VA has set up a hotline specifically for women veterans to receive and respond to questions from Veterans, their families and caregivers about the many services and resources available to women Veterans. Women veterans and their families can call 1-855-VA-WOMEN


Veterans Medical Transportation Services

For veterans needing transportation services to VA clnics and medical centers for treatment, the following options are available:

  • VA Medical Van - Transportation to the VA Medical Center in Wilmington can be arranged by a veteran through the VA clinics in Northfield and Vineland. The van leaves the Atlantic County CBOC at approximately 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, stopping in Mays Landing for a rest stop and to pick-up additional veterans. It will then proceed to the Cumberland County CBOC for another rest stop and pick-up prior to completing its journey at the VA Medical Center in Wilmington. The return trip reverses the stops.
  • DAV Hospital Service Transport for Cape May County - Provided by the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 44 in Cape May Court House, area veterans can arrange medical transport to the VA Medical Centers in Wilmington and Philadelphia, VA clinics in Northfield, Vineland and Cape May or local doctors.
