Flag Requests

The American flag is the most visible symbol of the United States of America.  Many constituents from New Jersey’s 2nd District request American flags flown over the U.S. Capitol for many different occasions.  Flags can be dedicated to any person or organization, or for any event, holiday, or memorial of their choice.

These flags can also be flown on any specific date, including weekends and all holidays except: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.  Each flag is boxed individually and includes an authentic certificate, which will accompany each flag you order, showing the day it was flown and the occasion for which it was flown.

If multiple flags are requested to be flown, they will all be flown on the same date and shipped at the same time.  If you need flags flown on different dates, or need flags with different dedication messages, you must submit separate order requests for each separate date or message.

To request a flag from my office you can submit a request online.  Requests made online must be paid for using bank account or credit/debit card information.

Please note: my office can accept flag requests only from residents of the 2nd District, or flags shipped directly to an address in the 2nd district.

My Washington office is scheduled to close on Friday, November 16th. The cutoff date for all constituent flag orders (regardless of payment method) is November 15th. Any requests made after November 15th will be filled by the newly-elected Member after January 3, 2019. Please submit your flag request no later than a week before the fly date.  After the flag has flown, please allow for approximately 3 to 4 weeks to receive your flag. Once the request is filled, flags are mailed out regular postal mail and take 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.
